 Responsible Care
|
Responsible Care® is a worldwide initiative by the chemical industry that
strives to improve safety, health and environmental (SHE) performance.
Sasol selected the Responsible Care principles as baseline standards from
which to set goals and improve the company's SHE performance.
Responsible Care has six codes: pollution prevention, product stewardship,
process safety, distribution safety, employee health and safety, and
community awareness and emergency response. Sasol has embraced each
code, supporting it with our management systems and company philosophy.
Sasol is committed to protecting the safety and health of its
employees, customers and the communities in which our facilities
operate. Under the program, the company works to reduce emissions
and safety incidents, make more information available to site neighbors
and keep the shipment and use of Sasol products as safe as humanly possible.
